Higher Education and Training Minister Naledi Pandor has been hard at work focusing and making progress in resolving issues at NSFAS (National Student Financial Aid Scheme).

This past Monday applications for 2019 funding has opened. The announcement followed a meeting between Pandor and NSFAS administrator Dr Randall Carolissen in Cape Town saying that “The decision to open the applications was taken after a process of testing the 2019 applications with a focus group of high school learners yielded positive results in terms of accessibility and user-friendliness.”

Pandor urged students, who were receiving their backdated funds, to use them wisely to settle outstanding arrears and focus on their studies.
