The Willowton Group who are also one of our 2014 Living Legends, opened their doors for business in 1970 and has grown to become South Africa’s largest sunflower seed crusher as well as one of the leading competitors in the South African ‘Fast Moving Consumer Goods’ market.

They are also committed to social responsibility beyond sport. Their aim is to make a meaningful difference, and one that can sustain itself into the future, so that all those who have benefited will hopefully one day do the same to others in need.

Recently they sponsored t-shirts to the South Africa Willows cricket team.

The team will compete in the Golden Oldies World Cricket Festival in Christchurch, New Zealand, from April 1-8. The cricket festival is for retired international and provincial players. Teams from England, Canada, West Indies, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and South Africa will be participating in the festival.
Waldo Saayman, a player from South Africa Willows, said, “We are grateful to the Willowton Group for their generous contribution to cricket overall.
