Dr Imtiaz Sooliman, founder of the Gift of the Givers is very well known for his global philanthropy.

He has been an Ethekwini Living Legend for the year 2016. Dr Sooliman’s sense of humanity and general care for afflicted communities is unmatched.  He has played an instrumental part in aiding people and organisations around the world in terms of disaster relief, poverty, etc.

He has ensured that people gain access to basic necessities and has always had a pro-active and hands on approach to his work, to date he has assisted people in more than 42 countries.

Dr Sooliman was recently honoured at the University Of Pretoria’s spring graduation ceremony by the University’s Faculty of Humanities.  He received the Chancellor’s medal as a token of formal acknowledgement of his contributions to humanity as a whole.  Dr Sooliman’s humility is clearly evident in the talk that he has given at the graduation ceremony where he addressed the youth and the importance of their acknowledgement of those that have made sacrifices for their education.  He is very deserving of this accolade as he is a man of selfless character and we wish him well in his future projects and endeavours as he continues to touch the lives of those in need, and positively enrich our global community.  Congratulations Dr Sooliman! Your efforts are revered and appreciated.
