Loots is the founder of the Flatfoot Dance Company, eThekwini’s longest surviving professional dance company, and is also responsible for Jomba, an annual dance and choreography festival that operates out of UKZN’s Centre for Creative Arts. Loots works closely with 2009 eThekwini Living Legend, Madala Kunene, having recently staged Sadhana at the Playhouse. Last year the pair worked together on Bhakti, another Playhouse production that was featured on Living Legends.

A massive congratulations to Lliane Loots for this impressive achievement. It is artists such as Lliane and Madala who make Durban the exciting and vibrant city that it is!
